1.       Preparing the NCR (Network Change Request) / PCR ( Parameter Change Request) For Adjenciesnya (Update BCCH)

2.       Creating new MAL ID
 
STEP TO Create MAL ID :
MAL ID 1 : frequency list 1,2,3,4,5
MAL ID 2 : Frequency list 6,7,8,9,10
MAL ID 3 : Frequency list 11,12,13,14,15

Command : ZEBE (CREATE MOBILE ALLOCATION FREQUENCY LIST)

ZEBE:MAL,<MAL ID>,<BAND>:FREQUENCY=<frequency>;

Example :

ZEBE:MAL,1,900:FREQ=1&2&3&4&5;

ZEBE:MAL,2,900:FREQ=6&7&8&9&10;

ZEBE:MAL,3,900:FREQ=11&12&13&14&15;


3.       Modifying BCCH Frequency
a.       Lock the BTS by applying the forced handover procedure.

Command :  ZEQS (CHANGE BTS ADMINISTRATIVE STATE)

ZEQS:BTS=<BTS ID>:<administrative state>: [ <forced handover> | <immediate lock> | <time limit> | <300 sec> def ] ... ;

Example :

ZEQS:BTS=24:L:FHO;

b.      Lock the BCCH TRX. Identify the TRX by the old BCCH frequency.

Command : ZERS (CHANGE TRANSCEIVER AND RADIO TIME SLOT STATE)

ZERS:BTS=<BTS ID>, TRX=<TRX ID>, <administrative state>;

Example :

ZERS:BTS=24,TRX=1:L;

c.       Modify the BCCH frequency.

Command : ZERM (MODIFY TRANSCEIVER AND RADIO TIME SLOT PARAMETERS)

ZERM:BTS=<BTS ID>, TRX=<TRX ID>:FREQ=<frequency>;

ZERM:BTS=24,TRX=1:FREQ=37;

The system updates the data related to the adjacent cells within the BSC according to the new BCCH frequency.

d.      Unlock the BCCH TRX.

Command : ZERS (CHANGE TRANSCEIVER AND RADIO TIME SLOT STATE)

ZERS:BTS=<BTS ID>, TRX=<TRX ID>, <administrative state>;

Example :

ZERS:BTS=24,TRX=1:U;

e.      Unlock the BTS.

Command :  ZEQS (CHANGE BTS ADMINISTRATIVE STATE)

ZEQS:BTS=<BTS ID>:<administrative state>: [ <forced handover> | <immediate lock> | <time limit> | <300 sec> def ] ... ;

Example :

ZEQS:BTS=24:U;


4.       Modifying MAL, MAIO Offset, MAIO Step & HSN

a.       Lock the BTS by applying the forced handover procedure.

Command :  ZEQS (CHANGE BTS ADMINISTRATIVE STATE)

ZEQS:BTS=<BTS ID>:<administrative state>: [ <forced handover> | <immediate lock> | <time limit> | <300 sec> def ] ... ;

Example :

b.      Modify , MAIO Offset, MAIO Step, HSN

Command : ZEQA (MODIFY MOBILE ALLOCATION FREQUENCY LIST USAGE PARAMETERS)

ZEQA:BTS=<BTS ID>: (MAL=<mobile allocation frequency list> | UMAL=<underlay mobile allocation frequency list> <option> | MO=<MAIO offset> | UMO=<underlay MAIO offset> <option> | MS=<MAIO step> <option> | UMS=<underlay MAIO step> <option> | DMAL=<DFCA mobile allocation frequency lists> <option> | OPE=<DFCA operation type> <option> | DUMAL=<DFCA unsynchronized mode MA frequency list> <option>) ... ;

c.       Modify HSN

Command : ZEQE (MODIFY BTS IDENTIFICATION PARAMETERS)

d.      Unlock the BTS.

5.       Updating BCCH Frequency  for External Neighbours
